Heart2Heart Cares 2024

Lives Impacted: 3000

Aster Volunteers - Heart to Heart Cares 2024 campaign successfully concluded its fourth edition. On Sunday 3rd November, over 3,000 volunteers participated in the closing ceremony and took part in the Mega Walk at Zabeel Park. Participants with the highest steps in both the male and female categories on that day and for the entire campaign period were recognized, with evidences reported at the event venue. The campaign ran for a month coinciding with World Heart Day, encouraging participants to engage in fitness by walk or calorie-burning activities. The Mega Walk was flagged off by Brigadier Ghalib Al-Ghafli, Director of Al Rifa’a Police Station, Dubai, with Mr. Shamshudeen Bin Mohidheen, Director of Aster DM Healthcare (India), leading the walk. HE Zahir Abdelfadil Agab, Consul General of Sudan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, inaugurated the cultural show, releasing balloons and a white dove to symbolize peace, freedom, and love. This year, over 23,200 participants worldwide joined the 10,000-step daily challenge, underscoring their dedication to personal well-being while supporting 50 underprivileged children in need of cardiac surgery. We extend our sincere gratitude to Aster DM Foundation and the partnering hospitals for their generous commitment to providing heart surgery for 50 more children in the 2024 cycle.
