World Environment Day 2022 - Aster Green Choices Initiative
On World Environment Day 2022, the Aster family took a pledge to fight the global climate crisis and the loss of Biodiversity. Several works toward a green planet were made that day. Dr. Moopen's Medical College inaugurated the Naseera Botanical Garden in Wayanad. Aster MIMS, Kottakkal made news for planting over six thousand saplings. To bring a change towards less use of plastic, Aster Prime Hospital distributed glass bottles to all the employees. Aster Hospitals, Bangalore also expressed its concern for the greener world by distributing saplings to all the patients on the premises and commuters passing by. The staff of Aster Aadhar Hospital Kolhapur planted 10 saplings each in the hope of a healthy and green-filled world. Aster Hospitals, Bangalore - Aster CMI and Aster Whitefield Hospital along with the city traffic police addressed the global concern by parading the slogan ‘OnlyOneEarth’ and distributing the plants. To recycle the old newspapers into better and more useful products, Aster Volunteers UAE has planted 7 collection boxes across Aster Hospitals & Medcare hospitals in the UAE. Every unit from Aster DM Healthcare is working towards a goal and the goal is to make this world healthier and greener for the future.
