Two big milestones for the Aster DM Healthcare Group.
In celebration of the Aster Dm Healthcare Group turning 30 years old, we launched an entity tasked with managing all our CSR work – Aster Volunteers.
And Aster Volunteers had and continues to have one very simple objective – to connect the people who need help, with those who can provide it.
Our community of volunteers has already done and continues to do impactful work for the needy in West Asia, Africa, India, and the Philippines.
Many communities around the world do not have access to healthcare. This has become especially difficult during the Covid-19 situation. Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services strives to bring medical services like temperature screening, medicines, and check-ups to these communities. 16,184 people were positively impacted by this initiative across 5 countries.
Food, kits, and essentials can go a long way for the less fortunate during the Covid-19 crisis. Aster Volunteers take to the streets in Dubai, Kochi, Kottakal, Kannur, and Bangalore to help those in need. Feed the Hungry initiative ensures that thousands of people don't sleep on an empty stomach. Impacted about 47,879 people with 273,863 meals
We're conducting a series of Facebook live sessions to help people cope with the current COVID 19 pandemic. These sessions are hosted by expert doctors from Aster hospitals. Log on to facebook.com/AsterVolunteers to know more.
The Aster Volunteers Green Choices program will initiate a series of activations that will enable us to shift to a more sustainable future. We firmly believe that sustainability should be at the core of our business, and this is the first step.
Aster Homes will help rehabilitate or rebuild homes that were wholly or partially affected by the Kerala floods. We need volunteers to help execute this project. Join Aster Volunteers.
