Bucket Project Tackled Waste Disposal Problem

Community Development & Support
Lives Impacted: 350+

We never waste an opportunity to help.

Aster MIMS Trust has partnered with NIRAVU Vengeri to tackle the waste disposal problem in CDA Colony at Eranhipalam, Kozhikode. Lack of proper garbage disposal facilities result in garbage piling up which doesn't just make the area smell foul but can also makes it a breeding ground for diseases. We will work together to ensure proper health, hygiene, and living conditions in the area.

A total of 80 volunteers came together for this project. Around 150 homes received one bucket each for collecting dry waste and one cloth bag for collecting plastic waste. We also employed 3 workers, dedicated to waste collection from these homes.
