K S Chitra Nightingale Sings for Children

A musical evening in aid of Aster KIND and Aster Sick Kids Foundation, Nightingale Sings for Children was an event where celebrated singer K.S. Chitra performed. The funds raised are going to be used to treat children with various critical health needs from developmental disabilities to intensive care across various hospitals in India.

Al Qudra Desert Clean Up

A clean chit from the desert. And our national animal.

Aster Volunteers and Emirates NBD employees joined hands to clean up plastic wastes from Al Qudra Desert. The initiative saw 181 participants gather to remove up to 79 bags of harmful waste to save the desert and its inhabitants - our camels. This is one of the many initiatives under Green Choices which aims to make the world a greener place and usher in a future we all would like to live in.

100 promises delivered along with hopes of a new beginning. 

Chief Minister of Kerala Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has handed over keys of the 100th house built by Aster Volunteers, to rehabilitate the flood victims of 2018 at an event held at Kochi Municipal Corporation Town Hall. This marks the completion of the first set of handovers out of the 250 Aster Homes which was announced as a part of the Rebuild Kerala initiative to help thousands of people who lost everything they possessed. Speaking on the occasion, Pinarayi Vijayan, commented that Aster Group has set an example for others with the initiatives taken by it in the area of social services. He added that as Dr. Azad Moopen is a philanthropic businessman such initiatives have received an added advantage. He also lauded the role played by Aster Volunteers in the flood rescue activities.

Covid-19 Mobile Medical Services

Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services strives to bring medical services like temperature screening, medicines, and check-ups to these communities. 16,184 people were positively impacted by this initiative across 5 countries.

Feed The Hungry Initiative

Food, kits, and essentials can go a long way for the less fortunate during the Covid-19 crisis. Aster Volunteers take to the streets in Dubai, Kochi, Kottakal, Kannur, and Bangalore to help those in need. Feed the Hungry initiative ensures that thousands of people don't sleep on an empty stomach. Impacted about 47,879 people with 273,863 meals
