Desert cleanup in association with Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi 4*4 in the interior of Al Badayer Desert

 Aster Volunteers UAE in association with Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi 4*4 arranged a desert clean-up drive in the interior of Al Badayer Desert. In just 3 hours, a humongous quantity of camping waste was collected. Thanks to the AVMMS team, Mr. Sinan from the Medcare team for taking the initiative, and Mr. Shabad (AHM), and Ms. Afreen (Aster Clinics) for spearheading the event, and all the volunteers associated with the clean-up drive.

BLS Training at Dubai Expo

On January 27th 2020, Aster Volunteers organised a Basic Life Support training session at the Indian pavilion of Dubai Expo 2020.  In a span of 4 hours over 170 individuals were trained on essential life saving skills. The event also had recreational activities like mehandi corner and zumba session. Both internal and external volunteers did a brilliant job in organising this event and imparting life saving skills at the fingertips of the learners.

Mission Attapadi

Under Mission Attapadi, Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services at Kochi partnered with Aster Medcity & Peace Valley to conduct a 3 day medical camp in  different tribal colonies of Attappadi.  1079 individuals were treated through 19 medical camps and the children of the region received free vitamin tablets and nutritious food. 5 paediatric patients who were suffering from congenital heart disease, ortho deformity and scoliosis and a 5 year old girl who was suffering from Paediatric Ortho Deformity were offered free treatment from any Aster unit in Kerala under Aster Volunteers Second Life Initiative. When it comes to healthcare, Aster Volunteers ensures no one is left behind.
