Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services in Ethiopia collaborated with Kedemt Piassa Begonet Mahber Association to launch a campaign to screen elderly individuals with chronic illnesses. As part of this campaign, AVMMS is taking vital sign measurements, analysing basic clinical history and conducting physical examinations. Based on this information, they are able to  provide lifestyle modification tips to help those with illnesses ameliorate their chronic condition.

After the effective pandemic intervention at Idukki, Ernakulam & Thrissur districts Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Service Kochi partnering with Aster Medcity & Peace Valley had extended Covid 19 awareness & screening services to Palakkad district* from today onwards for the Tribal settlers of the district in association with Forest Department, Centre for Life Skills Learning and Lions Club,  Honourable MP of Palakkad - Shri. V K Sreekandan flagged off the services of AV MMS at Civilstation, Palakkad.  "Health Care on Wheels at difficult times for the needy"

Mega Medical Camp

Aster Volunteers partnered with Aster Hospital, Aster Clinic, Indian Association RAK and Ministry of Health RAK to hold a medical camp on 24 and 25 July 2020. We were able to provide free ophthalmology and orthopaedic consultations, medicines and well as eye-testing for over 1000 underprivileged people in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Stand with Lebanon

Beirut, Lebanon is currently suffering the aftermath of two explosions that took place in August 2020. Our volunteers came together to Stand with Lebanon and pack medical relief kits. Kits worth over 2 million with medicines and consumables were prepared and sent to Lebanon via IHC Dubai and the Ministry of Health UAE. We are grateful to the volunteers and the contributors who made this possible.
