100 Aster Volunteers on 11th December joined hands with EEG for a noble civic cause. They were on ground as a part of a Dubai clean-up drive. Enthusiastic volunteers spread out at Al Qudra desert and participated in the activity whole-heartedly. The drive took place on a day that marks the 5th anniversary of Aster Volunteers as well as the 35th foundation day of Aster DM Healthcare. We are thankful to the volunteers for making the day all the more special by taking out time and representing Aster Volunteers in the clean-up drive.

Smile 4.0, a day of joy and giggles organised on Children’s Day 2021 was a day of fun and mirth for the little ones from various walks of life.  They came together to celebrate childhood at EXPO 2020 Dubai, exploring various pavilions. The day was packed with fun-filled activities for the children. Along with all the fun, there were health check-ups for everyone at India Pavilion.

They explored, they learnt, they took part in cultural activities like singing and dancing and were transported into a magical world through the tricks of a magician. Judging by the smiling faces, it can be concluded that the event was a roaring success.

Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services Iraq & Somaliland Launch

Aster Volunteers launched two Mobile Medical units in Dubai for Iraq and Somaliland on the occasion of 35th Foundation Day of Aster DM Healthcare. This flagging off ceremony was in alignment with Aster DM Healthcare's commitment to support and empower the underprivileged population by providing free and subsidized treatment to thousands of patients every year. MOU signing was done in the presence of Aster DM Healthcare, The Big Heart Foundation & Mr Ahmed Al Falasi. Aster Volunteers has also committed to launch 4 more units in Africa, thereby extending the Mobile Medical services to 7 African countries where it is highly required. In addition to this, Aster DM Healthcare plans to establish 5 Aster Volunteers Telehealth Service Centers in Africa, to support the diagnosis and treatment of the population there, through direct connection with Aster hospitals in India and GCC.

Aster MIMS Kottakkal - Programme with specially abled

Aster Mims Kottakkal hosted an evening for the specially abled people as part of the World Disability Day celebrations.  About 200 people gathered at the Tirur Kootayi Beach. The event was organized under the leadership of Aster Volunteers team along with Tirur Ambulance Owners and Drivers Association, Snehatheeram Volunteers Wing and All Kerala Wheelchair Rights Federation Malappuram. The intention of the program was to offer the specially abled people a change of environment and help them gain confidence when it comes to social interactions. The sunset at the beach and the concert organised by the Music on Wheels band was the best way to end the day.
